Senaya Muhandiram
Senaya holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Sciences (Major: Chemistry, Secondary Discipline: Management) from the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (IChemC) and is currently pursuing an MSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the University of Peradeniya.
With over four years of teaching experience across international curricula including Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA, OCR, WJEC, and the Australian curriculum, she is passionate about making Chemistry both accessible and engaging for students. Her teaching philosophy centers on breaking down challenging concepts into smaller, manageable components and adapting her approach to suit different learning styles. By combining practical explanations with a strong focus on examination techniques, she helps students develop both a thorough understanding of the subject and the confidence to excel academically.
Currently serving as a Chemistry Lecturer at Platinum Business Academy and an Online Educator for international platforms in the UK and Australia, she has extensive experience teaching students in both individual and group settings.
Her academic and extracurricular achievements include presenting research at the 16th International Conference on Sustainable Built Environment (ICSBE) 2025, receiving University Colours for Public Speaking and the Inter-University Undergraduate Poster Competition, and earning multiple accolades in public speaking competitions, reflecting her strong communication skills and commitment to educational excellence.
