Noor Azra
Noor Azra holds a BSc (Hons) in Aquatic Resources Technology from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, graduating with a Second Class Upper Division. She was awarded the Honour of Inclusion in the Dean’s List for exceptional academic performance during the 2019/2020 academic year.
A dedicated and hardworking educator, she has a strong passion for teaching Biology and Science. Moving beyond traditional teaching methods, she adopts modern, student-centered approaches that actively engage learners. Her lessons are thoughtfully delivered through interactive techniques such as question-and-answer sessions, storytelling aligned with the curriculum, and clear, structured explanations that enhance understanding and retention.
Currently self-employed as an online Biology and Science teacher, she is committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and academic confidence.
In addition to her academic achievements, she was a Finalist in the Three Minute Thesis Competition organized by the Faculty of Animal Science and Export Agriculture at Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma White Belt by Skill Gate (2024), reflecting her commitment to continuous improvement and professional excellence.
