
Dr. Ammar Jawfer
Dr. Ammar is a passionate and multifaceted medical professional currently serving as a Medical Officer under the Ministry of Health, with hands-on experience in General Medicine, General Surgery, and COVID care. Since 2021, he has been contributing to the public health sector while also sharing his knowledge as an educator.
He holds an MBBS from KDU and is a Certified Advanced Life Supporter by the European Resuscitation Council. His diverse qualifications also include certifications in hospital management, sports massage therapy, and ethical hacking, and he is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports and Exercise Sciences.
Dr. Ammar brings energy and practicality into his classroom, using real-life examples and interactive methods to make learning biology and general science both enjoyable and effective. He shares tried-and-tested study techniques and encourages students to explore beyond the textbooks.
Outside the classroom, he is an avid football player and former team captain, a passionate futsal coach, and a long-standing member of Toastmasters. As a former club president and active speech competitor, he integrates communication skills into his teaching style, helping students grow both academically and personally. Dr. Ammar is also a committed volunteer and believes in nurturing all-rounded individuals ready to thrive in every sphere of life.
